On the opposite side of the country the Queensland State Government published a health and wellbeing case study on their website about the successful health, wellbeing and safety initiatives that were put into place during the Westfield North Lakes redevelopment project.
Our Design and Construction General Manager Darren Ellis said, “Whitford City’s award and Queensland Government WorkSafe’s case study about North Lakes is a great achievement. “During the year we hosted a national work, health and safety alignment workshop with senior management from across the business to ensure everyone understands what we’re doing in this space, what our customer experience team is embarking on, and how we can all be more effective safety leaders. This has aligned our commitments to, and expectations of, each Scentre Group business unit to support and promote people protecting people. It’s an outstanding evolution of our safety culture and one that is welcomed by everyone across our business.”
