Working with Like-Minded Partners

  • Deep Green Landscaping promote their RAP at Westfield Whitford City.

Deep Green Landscaping was a contractor that worked on the redevelopment at Westfield Whitford City completed during the year, and just like Scentre Group,
they implement their Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) commitments at every opportunity.

“Working with partners and contractors that have an active RAP means we’re able to extend our reach of influence in this area and further progress towards achieving our own RAP goals,” says our WA Construction General Manager, Jon Stone.

“As a business, Deep Green Landscaping has an active RAP and they’ve used their role at Whitford City to put it into practice, engaging numerous Indigenous staff through IES Enviro Scape (Indigenous Economic Solutions) to assist with the labour required to transform the project landscaping works from a vision to a reality.”

IES Enviro Scape is a labour hire company that is committed to delivering high quality project outcomes while providing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with economic and sustainable employment opportunities.

"The IES team is highly regarded when it comes to landscaping works and they were selected by Deep Green for their experience with past landscaping works on recent large scale WA projects."

“Deep Green Landscaping and the IES team spent numerous weeks on site to complete the landscaping works in the new dining, entertainment and leisure precinct at Whitford City, allowing the IES team to gain further valuable experience for future employment.

“It’s a fantastic result for everyone, the landscaping looks fantastic and the IES team expressed how much they enjoyed the work and seeing the transformation take place. It was a pleasure to have Deep Green Landscaping and the IES team back to Whitford City to celebrate our opening later in the year when works were complete.”

"Partners like Deep Green Landscaping help us bring our RAP to life."
